Throughout the day today, performers will begin arriving to Richard B Russell Field in Rome, Georgia as they begin preparing for this weekend's Wings Over North Georgia. The Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor Demo Team is set to be the first jet demonstration team to arrive Thursday. Major John "Taboo" Cummings is set to make his presence known over Rome, Georgia between 10:00-10:15 am Thursday morning with flyovers above the airport before heading south to Dobbins Air Reserve Base and touching down around 10:30 am. The F-22 Raptor will be based out of Dobbins ARB for the duration of the weekend. The U.S. Navy Tac Demo Team will be arriving around 1:00 pm with both an F/A-18C and an F/A-18F Super Hornet. They'll be based out of Russell Field throughout the weekend. The USMC is set to arrive around 3:00 pm Thursday afternoon, and will be based out of Russell Field for the entire weekend.
