Gunfighter Skies Air & Space Celebration Will go on as Planned

Air show officials have announced Sunday’s Gunfighter Skies Air & Space Celebration will go on as planned following Saturday’s incident that took the life of world famous hang glider pilot Dan Buchanan. 

Air Show Officials have said they will dedicate Sunday’s show to the life of Dan and will honor him throughout the show. They also stated that spectators will have an opportunity to memorialize him at the show.

The Thunderbirds’ performance Saturday was cancelled following the incident, but the team will fly on Sunday. Gates open at 8:30 AM, and the flying begins at 10:30.
